Q: What are some of the health benefits of BlissTea?

A: BlissTea is an all natural, powerful adaptogen that detoxifies and restores balance to the body. Adaptogens are a remarkable class of herbs that have the ability to figure out what the body lacks/has too much of and then give it the right adjustment to restore equilibrium. Overweight? This tea can help normalize your metabolism so you can lose weight naturally. Stressed out? This tea can help calm you down and put out the internal fires that erupt in response to stress triggers. Running on empty? This tea can help jump start your internal battery and give you the energy you need to barrel through the day. Other reported benefits include lower blood pressure, regulation of blood sugar / reduction of bad cholesterol, stress reduction, strengthened immunity and a plethora of anti-aging benefits.

Q: Where is your tea grown?

A: BlissTea is exclusively sourced from select hillside farms in Chiang Rai, Thailand. None of our tea is from China.

Q: Is there any caffeine in BlissTea?

A: BlissTea is completely caffeine-free. One of its benefits is the ability to energize or calm the body without the nasty side effects of caffeinated beverages.

Q: How does BlissTea actually work?

A: Understandably, for many the many benfits sound too good to be true. After all, we're conditioned to think one-directionally. If you're too cold, you grab a blanket and turn up the heat. If you're too hot, you throw off the covers and crank up the AC. Different problems require different solutions, right?

Not exactly. By manually turning up the heat or the AC, we treat the symptoms in a one-off method. But what is the real problem? Well, it boils down to a malfunctioning thermostat! So, if we fix the thermostat, we fix both problems! Our bodies work in a similar fashion. When it is out of balance, it starts sending out signals left and right (weight gain, headaches, high blood pressure, etc.). We can treat each sympton independently, or we can change the way we think about and treat the problem. Restore balance and your body will function in the way it was intended to!

But don't take our word for it. Try it for yourself!

Q: How long before I start to see results?

A: We get this question a lot! The simple answer is it depends. Every body is different and so the response times will differ as well. Some people have reported seeing changes in how they feel within a few days, others start to see them after taking the tea consistently for two to three months.

Q: Are there any side effects or contraindications to this tea?

A: BlissTea is completely caffeine-free and there are no known side-effects or toxicity in normal doses. As with all things, we encourage you to consult your doctor if you have any questions/concerns specific to your health situation.

Q: How much tea do I use per cup? How much tea should I drink each day?

A: Between 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon per cup. Brew tea with hot water for 5 minutes. Tea leaves can be re-used up to two more cups (depending on how strong you like it). Drink 3 - 5 cups per day. Sweeten with honey/lemon as desired.

Q: How do I prepare the tea? Do I need any special equipment?

A: All you need is hot water and a mug / tea cup. We prefer hot, not boiling water, so let the tea kettle cool a bit on the stove before preparing your tea. Some people like to use tea pots, infusers or cheese cloths to brew their tea. Others throw the loose tea leaves in a cup and add hot water. Both methods work equally well, in our opinion!

Q: Can I prepare the tea in an ice-tea maker? How long can the tea be stored in the refridgerator?

A: You can prepare the tea in an ice-tea maker as long as the machine can accomodate loose leaf tea. In fact, we have even experimented with brewing the tea in a coffee maker! Now that was one STRONG cup of tea! The tea can be stored in the refridgerator for up to three days as long as the leaves are discarded and not left in the tea.

Q: Does BlissTea come in different flavors?

A: At this time BlissTea is available in original flavor only. For the most part, our customers prefer the sweet, unadulterated taste of the original tea, but for those who desire a bit of variety, we recommend experimenting with adding lemon, honey and mint.
